How do I get started?

All new clients start with an intake appointment, and you can book that online here anytime, day or night! If you have any difficulties, just send a note via the Contact page and we’ll sort it all out! I recommend clients also read through the different pages of this website to familiarize themselves with Healing Forward. Make sure to check out the Modalities page, more about Sessions at Healing Forward and also the FAQs here on this page too!

Where is the office located?

The HF Shattuck Office is located on the 2nd floor at 2375 Shattuck Ave. Look for the big red door and there’s a buzzer you can press to be let in. Sessions start on time so no need to arrive early! 

The HF Fairview Office (Friday appointments) is located at 1524 Fairview St. Walk through the gate and follow the path around to the left, through the 2nd gate, and the door will be on your right.

What should I bring to my Appt?

As long as the digital paperwork has been completed, there is nothing you must bring to the first session.

If you have any recent (last 6 months) labwork you are welcome to bring it but we may not get to it during this first meetup as there is so much to do, but it will be great information to have moving forward.

If you are taking supplements currently, you can bring those bottles for review.

I’m unsure about booking,
could we chat on the phone for a bit first?

While I am happy to answer any questions via email, it is unfortunately time prohibitive to offer consult phone calls. In order to keep client scheduling as accessible as possible, email correspondence is the best method for any pre-booking questions. I do my best to respond within 48 hours, often much sooner! 

Many of the questions that are commonly asked have been answered here, or throughout this website, so do read through as you may be able to find just the information you were looking for ready to go! 

How many visits will I need?

The answer to this question varies greatly as each individual has their own healing mosaic to be supported through our sessions. Some come to HF with 1-2 pressing issues, while others have dozens of symptom complaints spanning many decades. Each session we work to delve deeper, at the needed pace for each individual. Many people find they continue on well past their original symptom relief because the services continue to help them feel better each visit as they continue moving ahead in their life!

Your goals, your motivation, and the work you do on your own between sessions can also greatly impact the timeline. My goal is that you feel progress each and every session which helps keep you motivated to continue moving you closer and.. Healing Forward!

Do you work with...

I have many clients who have come to HF with chronic issues including auto-immunity, depression, anxiety, allergies, hormone imbalance, chronic fatigue, and other challenges, aches, and pains.

I also have many clients who are focused on a single piece of their life that they are working to transform, such as performance anxiety, moving ahead in business, finding one’s greater potential, bringing in better personal/social relationships, and more!

Whether the symptoms are physical in manifestation, or more felt sense in the body hindering one from living the life they want, the root causes often connect into much deeper layers that are crucial for true and deep healing to find its way in.

Do you book appts with teens
and young children?

Absolutely! I have seen infants on up to seniors and even have a few pictures in my office drawn by a few of my younger clients!

Technically, my youngest clients have still been in the womb and it’s amazing to see their energy fields grow as they do! 

Parents/guardians can complete the same digital paperwork, leaving out any parts that are not relevant due to age.

Supplements: Vitamins, Minerals, & Herbs?

The supplements recommended in office are high quality, whole foods based nutrients that are only available through health care practitioners and include vitamins, minerals, herbals, and other nutritional support. It is very important, when purchasing supplements, to know your source and purchase only from trustworthy places!

Healing Forward does carry in office and/or drop ship supplements as needed to provide ease of purchase for clients. Supplements average $5-15/day, usually the higher side in the beginning as the body is most depleted and has the greatest need of support.

I am vegetarian/vegan,
will your services be right for me?

In order to provide the full range of nutritional support, vegetarians and vegans must be comfortable taking supplements that contain animal tissue extracts and ingredients if they come up as recommended during sessions.

It is important to focus on healing as the first priority, and minimize any roadblocks that could be affecting deeper layers of healing to shine through. As we are working with healing priorities, all clients must be open to supporting their body to the highest level possible.

 

Payment & Insurance?

2019 Prices and Fees:
Intake Appointment – $225.00 (60-75 min)
Followup Appointments – $165.00 (1 hr)

Payment is due at the end of each session. Supplements and Lab work are not included in above prices, and vary depending upon each client’s individual needs.

Healing Forward accepts cash or credit. We do not accept insurance. HSA/FSA cards are often able to be used, check with your provider for more details.

What about lab tests? Hair tests? Saliva tests?

Yes! There are great tests out there that really help us better understand your story. Although HF does not order blood work and can not diagnose, we can give you a list of specific tests to request from your Dr. and can help you better understand the results through education. Salivary testing can provide and in-depth source of information, especially in regards to adrenal and hormone health. Hair Mineral Analysis testing is also a fantastic tool and is generally ordered during the Intake appointment to provide not only a baseline but helpful information to start.

Testing prices vary and recommendations are based upon each clients individual needs. Testing requested during the Intake appointment may average from $145-400, with followup tests at 3-6 months afterwards

Policies & Procedures: Cancellation? Returns?

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations under 48 hours or no-shows will be charged a full missed session fee. If you plan to arrive late, please send a note to let us know. Sessions will be considered “no-show” at 20 minutes past start time and a full session fee will be charged. Lab tests and supplements, including in-office purchases, special order, and direct ship items, are non-refundable.. All packages and services, including lab tests, are non-refundable and must be used within 6 months from date of purchase.
